This medal was chosen as the 123rd issue of the prestigious Society of Medalists series in 1992.

The obverse bears perspective of circular stairs with man ascending, gazing upward at woman descending.

The reverse shows view down, presumably, the same set of stairs from directly overhead; man and woman passionately embracing. To r., signed MICHAEL MESZAROS (illegible mark) 1992

This is a highly original, largely geometric work, nestled between two classic issues.

This medal measures 76mm in diameter and was struck by the Medallic Art Company of Sioux Falls, South Dakota. The mintage was not reported.
