This uniface plaque bears two dolphins with intertwined tails with wave pattern at top. In ring around center field, CITY OF SEATTLE / 1869

This plaque was commissioned in 1928 for mounting on Seattle's light posts. John Wehn was Seattle's leading sculptor. He had become famous for his 1908 sculpture of Chief Seattle.
