On reverse center field, COMMEMORATING / SILVER JVBILEE ANNIVERSARY / 1906 - 1931; around, OREGON MVTVAL LIFE INSVRANCE COMPANY; incuse at bottom M.S.G.

The edge is marked MEDALLIC ART CO. N.Y.

The medal was issued by the Oregon Mutual Life Insurance Company in 1931 but Fairbanks' design is originally from 1929.

In 1963 the Standard Insurance Company of Portland Oregon issued another commemorative medal with the same obverse but a different reverse to celebrate the completion of the Standard Insurance Company Plaza Building. The original sculpture of The Will to Achieve still resides in that building.

The medal measures 71mm in diameter and was struck in bronze by the Medallic Art Company of New York.
